Master Gardeners plan annual plant sale

The Mariposa County UCCE Master Gardeners will hold their fifth annual plant and garden art sale on Saturday May 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds at the gazebo in front of the Mining Museum.

Items for sale will include a wide variety of vegetable and flower seedlings, herbs, drought tolerant California native plants, house plants, and yard and garden art. Master Gardeners will be available to answer gardening questions. The Mariposa County Health Department will also be on hand to distribute mosquito fish for mosquito control. Shoppers can take home a bag of free manure with their purchases while supplies last.

Proceeds from the sale will help to support other Master Gardener educational and program activities throughout the year.
