Gregory garners foreign language honors from BofA
JANAE GREGORY
Janae Gregory, a senior at Mariposa County High School and the daughter of Joanne and Ray Gregory of Lushmeadows, has been selected as the recipient of the 2010 Bank of America certificate for foreign language.
Gregory is a four-year member of the Grizzly soccer program. She has participated in Relay for Life, was the sophomore and junior class vice president as well as the Associated Student Body vice president as a senior. She has been a volunteer dance instructor and is a member of the Spanish Club, Campus Life and California Scholarship Federation.
She has been a four-year member of the honor roll and had perfect attendance during her sophomore and junior years. She received the most improved award in advanced choir and was the most valuable player on the junior varsity soccer team. She also earned her varsity soccer letter.
Gregory plans to attend Sierra College to study medicine and education. From there, she plans to transfer to a four-year college to continue her education. While attending college, she hopes to work as a dance instructor, and wants to be a classroom and dance teacher. Her goal is to follow her childhood dream of owning her own dance studio, as well as teaching.
