April 12: •Malicious mischief was reported on 10th Street. •Deputies responded to an assault on Watt Road. •There was a disabled motorhome on Highway 41 and a disabled school bus on Highway 49 South. •A domestic dispute was reported on Tip Top Road.

April 13: •There were questions about a ferrett on Cole Road. •There was a minor injury accident near the fairgrounds. •A horse was on Old Highway. •There were feral cat problems on Lozano Road.

April 14: •A fence was taken down on Darrah Road. •Identity theft was report on Grist Road. •There was a traffic accident on Highway 49 at Ashworth Road. •A resident on Carter Road reported a suspicious phone call.

April 15: •Dogs were chasing horses on Colorado Road. •A shotgun was stolen on Hite’s Cove Road. •Wildcat Road was blocked. •A bus was parked on Highway 140. missing on Fifth Street. •A parole violation was reported at the fairgrounds. •Dogs were chasing turkeys on Marshall Road. •There was a possible drug overdose on Highway 49 North.

April 17: •A man was yelling and shooting unsafely on Meadow Lane. •There was a dog in a car at Rite Aid. •A horse was in distress on Allred Road. •There was a prowler on Arbolada Drive.

April 18: •Someone found a white puppy on Tip Top Road. •There was a blown transformer on Jackass Ridge Road. •A major injury accident was called in on Bullcreek Road. •Deputies responded to a domestic incident on Circle Drive.

The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
