Mariposa Butterfly Festival is just around the corner. The Festival takes place Friday, April 30, Saturday, May 1 and Sunday, May 2. The deadlines for many of the events are coming quickly.

The deadlines for the youth poetry contest and the youth photo contest are Friday April 16. The deadlines for both the Katerpillar Kids area and the Chrysalis Youth areas are being extended to Saturday, April 17. The Little Miss Butterfly and Captain Caterpillar costume contests have an April 19 deadline. The butterfly hat contest deadline is set for April 24. The Butterfly Festival is willing to be flexible for applications, but those signed up on date will be the first chosen to fill spaces.
