A valuable bloodhound puppy named “Cletus” was stolen from its home on April 8. The dog’s owner believes Cletus was taken by neighbors who were in the process of moving.

The pup’s owner, Timothy Martinez, said Cletus was playing in the yard with another puppy as the neighbors and their helpers prepared to move. When their vehicles were gone, so was Cletus.

The puppy is nine to 10 weeks old and weighs about 25 pounds. Anyone with information about the stolen dog is asked to call the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Department at 966-3615.
