Mariposa's Grizzlies suffered a 7-4 defeat at the hands of Head Royce in Saturday's championship game of the Hilmar Tournament. The Hawks jumped out early, and Mariposa could get no closer than 2 runs behind.

The Grizzlies will continue their Southern Athletic League campaign at Le Grand Tuesday afternoon, and will host Waterford on Thursday in a pair of critical SAL battles.
