Emberly Carisio
Emberly Carisio, 39, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed on to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, March 29, at the City of Hope in Duarte.
Emberly was born in the San Fernando Valley, on April 15, 1970. She attended Christian schools at Canoga Park Lutheran Church and Chaminade High School. She then went on to CSU, Northridge, and the University of Calgary in Canada.
In June of 1994, Emberly moved with her parents to Mariposa (Bootjack), and worked for Mariposa County for nearly five years. In 1999 she moved to Arcata and married Tony Carisio where they both attended college. She became a medical transcriber.
In 2004, Emberly moved with her husband to Las Vegas, where she continued her medical transcribing, working for an internet company which allowed her to work from home. She was an accomplished piano player and an avid reader. She loved all animals, especially those that lived with her and her parents.
Emberly will be remembered by all those who knew and loved her as a shy, kind and gentle person with a good heart and a true soul. She will be sorely missed.
Emberly is survived by her husband, Tony Carisio; his parents Jim and Darlene McGuire; her parents, Tom and MaryEllen Foster; her brother, Dan Foster; and uncles and aunts, Judy Foster, Dick Foster, Gwen Foster, Jim Foster, Larry Bowen and Gale Cates.
