Woodland hosts commmunity dinner

The Parent Teacher Association of Woodland Elementary School is hosting the school’s first annual “Woodland School Community Dinner” on Friday, April 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the multi-purpose room. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the family-friendly barbecue tri-tip dinner fund raiser.

Tickets should be purchased in advance. Adult dinners that include a large serving of tri-tip, green salad, potato salad, garlic bread, and a beverage cost $10. Child dinners that include hot dogs, potato salad, green salad, and a beverage cost $5. A limited amount of veggie dogs will also be available. Please specify if the order will be the vegetarian option. Tickets can be purchased from Woodland students and also the school’s office.

The Mariposa Lions Club will be barbecuing. All proceeds from the event will go toward classroom enrichment at Woodland Elementary.
