The Mariposa County Republican Central Committee is hosting a candidate’s night on Friday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Mariposa Masonic Lodge.   Republican candidates running for state or national office and local bi-partisan candidates are invited to speak.

The MCRCC is encouraging the public to attend.  Each candidate will be given a limited time to introduce themselves and their platforms.  Following the speeches to the group there will be a meet and greet session where the audience can individually get to know the candidates.

Candidates that have confirmed are Congressional District 19: Senator Jeff Denham, Congressman Richard Pombo, and Mayor Jim Patterson; Assembly District 25;  Kurt VanderWeide, Kristin Olsen, Supervisor District 3: Supervisor Janet Mankins-Bibby, Tolley Gorham, Theresa Castaldi, and Floyd Davis, Jr.; Supervisor District 1: Brad Aborn; and Governor, representative for Meg Whitman

There is no charge for the event.  The MCRCC will serve coffee.  Soft drinks and baked items will be available to purchase.
