Les Marsden of Mariposa won his party’s pre-endorsement nomination for his (CA) 19th District US Congressional candidacy.

The California Democratic Party’s pre-endorsement conferences were held statewide on March 20. Region 7 (including five CA legislative districts and four US congressional seats) met in Modesto under regional chair Gary Robbins. Democratic Party candidates or their representatives presented candidates' credentials and spoke briefly on their qualifications. The elective delegation is composed of State Central Committee members, County Central Committee members and designated voting members of Democratic Clubs.
