March 22: •There was a traffic accident on Highway 140 at Seventh Street. •Someone reported a bear versus shed incident on Spring Creek Road. •Deputies took a burglary report on Gavilan Road. •Threats were investigated on 10th Street.

March 23: •Wild pigs were causing a problem on Indian Peak Road. •Someone found a bullet near Mariposa County Behavioral Health. •Dogs were chasing chickens on Darrah Road. •Goats were found on Woodview Lane.

March 24: •A suspicious person was causing a public nuisance on Old Highway. •A bear was hit by a car on Highway 140. •Dogs were harassing horses on Colorado Road. •There was a neighbor dispute on Darrah Road. •Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at the Miner’s Inn.

March 25: •Suspicious circumstances ended with an arrest in Bear Valley. •Dispatch took a burglary report from Bull Creek Road. •An aggressive dog was loose on Varain Road. •There was a domestic dispute on Greeley Hill Road.

March 26: •A missing person’s report came in from Bear Valley Road. •There was a traffic accident on Indian Peak Road. •Deputies took a dog bit report at the SPCA. •A motorist was lost on the Burma Grade.

March 27: •A juvenile ran away from a Triangle Road home. •An aggressive dog was loose on Zarzal Court. •Harassing calls were being received on Sebastopol Road. •There was a missing person on Miami Mountain. •A barking dog complaint came in from Pautzke Court.

March 28: •Two horses were missing on Gusanillo Court. •Scrap metal was stolen on Sweetwater Road. •Rocks were blocking Highway 49 North in Bear Valley. •There was a verbal dispute on Hirsch Road.

The above listed calls are actual reports to Mariposa County Sheriff’s Dispatch. These are just a sampling of yesterday's calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
