Whether it was a bevy of miscues or a comedy of errors, Mariposa dropped its first Southern Athletic League contest to Turlock Christian Thursday afternoon, 5-1.

It was the Grizzlies' first defeat in league play. The fell to Chowchilla earlier in the week in a non-league contest, 9-0.
