As I read Bill Davis' resume recently, I was very impressed by the qualifications that he has for the position of auditor.

He brings a high level of education with him. This includes not only a bachelor’s degree from the Naval Academy, but also a master’s degree in business administration. This is important in a highly-technical position such as this. In my opinion, he also gets extra points for earning his master’s degree while serving in the Marines at the same time.

Even more critical than the education though is the fact that he has years of directly relevant experience. He has valuable experience in audit, analysis, accounting and other financial skills as well as years of budgeting and supervisory experience. These last two are essential for managing the duties of the Auditor's office.

After evaluating the needs of this position and the skills that Mr. Davis has to offer, my conclusion is that he is the perfect fit for county auditor. I am urging everyone to vote for him. I certainly will be.
