I would like to introduce myself to those of you who have never had the misfortune of getting ill or injured in the Mariposa area and had to go to the emergency room or hospital and were fearful of having a bad experience. My name is Patsy Ricks, and I have been in the area for over 15 years.

I have had to go to John C. Fremont Hospital several times in those 15 years. I just had to go to the emergency room recently, and I want to pass on to you that the treatment at the emergency room and hospital was so good every time I was there that I felt I should share this with others.

I cannot find the words that adequately describe the excellent care I received from Dr. Joseph E.C. Rogers and Dr. Kenneth P. Smith and the staff at John C. Fremont Hospital.

At no time did I have the feeling I was just another problem to be dealt with. They were efficient, friendly and so very caring.

In all my years, I have never experienced such consideration as I received in this hospital.

In the two weeks since my return home, I have received phone contacts from Dr. Rogers as a follow-up consideration.
