The Mariposa County Fairgrounds was the place to be on Saturday, Feb. 6. Nearly 300 guests enjoyed over one pound of crab, and then were offered more. The Mariposa FFA and Lions kitchen staff served the guests a sit-down dinner in a record time of 21 minutes.

After dinner, guests listened eagerly as ticket numbers were called and raffle prizes were given away. Auction winners became proud owners of a tack rack built by FFA, an autographed script from the hit TV show NCIS, autographed gloves, cap and jersey from New England Patriots left guard and two-time AFC Pro Bowl player Logan Mankins, and a wagon wheel bench built by FFA. The table decorating contest brought some exciting competition this year. In the end, the Foster True Value team rose to new heights and was crowned the winner. They received four tickets to the 2011 Crab Feed.
