COLIN RITTER The faculty at Mariposa County High School has announced that senior Colin Ritter is the recipient of the Bank of America plaque for liberal arts.

Colin is the son of Tom and Lori Ritter of Mariposa. While at MCHS, he has been involved in Spanish Club, California Scholastic Federation, and Friday Night Live. He has served the Associated Student Body as technology commissioner and the community as a member of the Mariposa Mental Health Board.

Athletically, Colin has been on the Grizzly baseball and wrestling teams. He was also named Citizen of the Year in his sophomore and junior years, and is the recipient of the 2010 Mariposa Scholar Award.

Ritter will attend college to major in biology.
