The brilliant sunshine that greeted Mariposa County residents this morning will be short-lived. According to the National Weather Service, more rain is headed this way.

After some weekend rain and higher elevation snow, today should be dry. Rain is expected to return Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday looks dry, but more precipitation is likely by Friday.
