Feb. 9: •A child abuse report came in from Triangle Road. •A raccoon was stuck in a dumpster at the Yosemite Bug Hostel. •Someone made a child abuse report in Mariposa. •A juvenile was out of control on Red Flat Road.
Feb. 10: •There was a dog versus chickens incident on Fiske Road. •Cattle were on Hornitos Road. •There was a loose calf on Banderilla Drive. •Dispatch took a report of threats on Windy Hollow Road. •Petty theft was reported on Ashworth Road.
Feb. 11: •Deputies took a grand theft report on Oak Drive. •Shots were fired near Woodland School. •There was a juvenile issue at Lake Don Pedro Elementary. •A donkey was on Gann’s Corral Road.
Feb. 12: •A prowler was reported on Snow Creek Road. •A houseboat on Lake Mc- Clure was vandalized. •Dispatch took a report of harassing emails on Sierra Pines Drive. •There was a prowler on Jerseydale Road.
Feb. 13: •A dog was seen on Schilling Road. •Shots were fired on Banderilla Drive. •Dirtbikes were on Dogtown Road. •There was a broken pipe on Smith Road. •Shots were heard on Cloud’s Rest Road.
Feb. 14: There was a man in the Merced River in El Portal. •Someone reported livestock damage in Mariposa. •A noise complaint came in from Tulipan Way. •A mountain lion was seen on Adelfa Road. •There was a possible structure fire at the Dudley Ranch.

The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
