Sorority says ‘be mine’
SORORITY MEMBERS ELINOR TODD (CHAPTER PRESIDENT), SUSAN WARNER AND SUE INGE ARE PICTURED WITH GIFTS FOR EWING WING RESIDENTS.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, three members of Delta Nu Iota collaborated to make basketes filled with tokens of the holiday. Their baskets were filled with sugar free chocolate candy and cookies, red velvet heart picks and Valentine’s badges.
Each was topped with a plush teddy bear and given to five patients living in the Ewing Wing at John C. Fremont Hospital. Avis Moulton, who oversees the interfacing between the community and residents, was also given one of the hand-made Valentine’s baskets.
Beta Sigma Phi sorority is primarily a social organization and believes in connecting with people in the community who may not be able to interact the way they have in the past.
