Thank you

The 2009 Mariposa County High School Grizzlies would like to thank the many people who made the success we had this season possible. We would first like to thank Dan Tucker for his tireless work with the “Hoedown,” which supported all MCHS sports. Along with Dan, we’d like to thank the MARIPOSAGAZETTE for its tireless coverage through the good and the bad. We would also like to thank Ron Willey and the good people at the Pizza Factory who have given us tremendous support throughout the years. We owe a great debt of gratitude to Nolan and Carol Blair for their untiring support. We would also like to thank Steve and Tally Allison for their unyielding support throughout the year

We must thank Stacie Dayhoff and Jill Ballinger for the tremendous effort they have spent over the years with the Quarterback Club. This program would be nothing without their good works like the Christmas tree sale.

At MCHS, we would like to thank Principal Celeste Azevedo for her support. Coach Loyd Hobby will never be thanked enough for all the years he has slaved to make our sports programs as good as they are. Sue Carter, Kristie Mitchell, Kathy Chase, and Stephanie Nabors deserve credit for all the work they do behind the scenes to get us on the field.

We would like to thank Kim Murdock for all her efforts with the Grizzly Boosters, who have raised money and supported the entire community at MCHS.

We must extend thanks to all the local merchants and people who supported us, Pioneer Market, True Value Hardware, Mariposa Feed, Brower Construction, Yosemite Bank, River Rock Inn, Lady Bug Embroidery, Mountain Yoga, McNamara Sports of Merced and Jeremiah Beery.

We would like to thank Jim Suggs and Andy Verdugo for donating our water coolers and making sure we don’t have to drink bad water anymore!

For our Truckee trip we would like to thank Renee and Dino Baca for organizing the great tasting and filling meals we had there. We’d also like to thank Michele Beebe for her help with the Truckee meals. We’d like to thank Alan Dayhoff for his efforts carrying our gear to Truckee and our other away games and of course his expertise barbequing hot dogs, not to mention his tremendous efforts coaching for all those years. Trace De- Sandres also deserves our appreciation for travelling to Truckee, acting as a chaperone, and generally supporting us every year. We would also like to thank all the fans who made the long trip to Truckee to support us through a long day.

We would like to thank Kim Keyes, Kathy and Kelsey Foraker, Monique Beaudoin, and Tally Allison and once again the Pizza Factory for feeding us on Fridays. We would like to extend our thanks to the River Rock Inn, Paul’s Place in Merced, and Pietro’s in Lodi for the delicious meals they fed us on our road trips. We would also like to thank the Lions Club for its efforts in organizing our year end banquet.

We would like to thank Courtney Dayhoff and Brook Earling for their weekly efforts on our sidelines with the stats and plays. We would also like to Jaclyn Murdock for her excellent work on the videos, which allowed us to see ourselves in action.

We would like to thank the coaches, Robert Stitt, Ryan Oliphant, Danny Ellis, Dennis Blessing, Bob Fluharty, and John Barton for their work at practice and at games. They gave us our chance to be competitive and successful every week.

Finally, we would like to thank anybody who has supported us but was not listed above and, as always, we would like to say, thank you Grizzly fans.

Coach Bob Kelly and the 2009 Grizzlies
