Christopher Eric Britt passed away on Jan. 13, in Coarsegold. He was 21-years-old.

Chris is survived by his parents, Jowellen and Don McCulley of Mariposa, and Eric and Corinne Britt of Merced; his siblings, George and Clyde Britt, Donald and Emma McCulley, four stepbrothers and one stepsister; his grandparents and great-grandparents.

Services were held Jan. 18 at New Life Christian Church in Mariposa, followed by a reception at McCay Hall in Cathey’s Valley.

Chris was a bright, happy, generous person who will be sorely missed by his family and friends and everyone who knew him during his short stay with us. Friends are encouraged to light a candle to light his way on his new adventure.
