Xi Phi Upsilon reminds the public of its annual Trivial pur- Soup and Game day on Friday, Jan. 29. This Mariposa chapter of Beta Sigma Phi has been keeping a close watch on the recent series of storms and believe January’s wintry weather will provide a perfect setting for this 12th annual event.

Card and board games will start at 10 a.m. A huge variety of homemade soups and desserts will be served promptly at noon. The sorority urges the public to support this fund raiser for breast cancer research and join them at the Bootjack Stomper’s Hall located across from the fairgrounds.

Many door prizes are given away during the lunch hour, and games will continue through 3 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for a $10 donation. For further information call 377-8349.
