I want to encourage the good folks of Mariposa County to come to the fairgrounds from 4 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 31, to support Doug Binnewies. Doug is running for Mariposa County Sheriff and will host a family pizza dinner in Building A for all Mariposans who would like to learn more about him or just show their support.

As a supervisor and Undersheriff Doug has proven himself to be a consummate professional in all aspects of managing the diverse challenges of the Mariposa County Sheriff’s department. Doug and his family have committed themselves to the betterment of our area and have been consistently involved in a wide array of community service. Whether in youth sports, school, church or his profession Doug has repeatedly proven to be the type of role model we can all be proud of.

Come to the fairgrounds, get together, spend some time with Doug and his family and let him know we appreciate his willingness to be our elected sheriff.
