Mariposa area musicians and residents are hosting a fund raiser to support urgently needed medical and surgical care for earthquake victims in Haiti this Friday, Jan. 29 at the Yosemite Bug in Midpines, from 6 to 11 p.m.

The "Love and Haiti" event will benefit Partners in Health (www.standwithhaiti.org), an organization that has been providing medical care in Haiti for more than 20 years. Featured musicians include Adam Burns and friends, Denise Ludington and friends, Jeff Blalock and Jared Jesperson.

The Yosemite Bug will donate a portion of food and drink sold that evening to Partners in Health, and everyone who comes is encouraged to contribute as generously as possible to help the people of Haiti.
