Make-up game --- isn't

Officials are a 'no show' -- game canceled

Monday night's rescheduled varsity Southern Athletic League contest between Mariposa and Denair was canceled after the CIF sanctioned refs didn't show.

It was a make-up bout to replace last Friday's tilt that was canceled due to weather conditions.

The teams have agreed to make up Monday night's game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at MCHS. Only the varsity teams will play.

It will be a grueling week for the Grizzlies. Tuesday night they travel to Turlock Christian, then host Denair on Wednesday, travel to Le Grand on Friday, and then hit the road for Delhi on Saturday. Four games in five days, and all are SAL contests.

Yep, almost like the pro's except no money, no million dollar contracts/endorsements/ no multi-million dollar arena's to play in. Just the fun of playing a game for the love of it!
