Jan. 12: •A pig was on Greeley Hill Road. •There was an altercation at the Mariposa County Jail. •There was a traffic accident on Mt. Bullion Cutoff Road. •Someone was trapped in an elevator at the Super 8 Motel. •There was a disturbance on Granite Dome Road.
Jan. 13: •A dog attacked a calf on Old Highway. •Dogs were loose on Guadalupe Mountain Road. •Dogs were attacking livestock on Darrah Road. •There was an injured squirrel at the fairgrounds.
Jan. 14: •Deputies took a burglary report on Highway 140. •Elder abuse was reported on Highway 140 in Midpines. •A drunk person was arrested at Yosemite Liquors. •There was a loud party on St. Andrew’s Road. •There was a dispute at Mariposa County High School.
Jan. 15: •There was a harassment complaint on St. Andrew’s Road. •Dispatch received a noise complaint on Avenida Central. •Property was burglarized on Bull Creek Road. •There was a juvenile problem at Yosemite Liquors. •A vehicle was sideways on Highway 49 North.
Jan. 16: •Two horses were out on Triangle Road. •There was a burlgary on Black’s Creek Road. •A possible brush fire was reported on Sullivan Road. •Someone found a sink hole on Buckingham Mountain Road. •Shots were heard on Granite Springs Road.
Jan. 17: There was a rockslide on Highway 140 in Midpines. •Three dogs were on Ashworth Road. •There was some flooding on Campbell Way. •There was a rockslide in El Portal. •A car hit a bridge in Coulterville. •A vehicle crashed into a tree on Bear Valley Road.

The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
