PG&E will shut off power again tonight
According to Mariposa County Fire Chief Jim Wilson, following Tuesday’s power outage, PG&E has isolated and identified the problem. Since there is no redundancy circuitry available, the “fix” will require at least an eight-hour interruption.
Beginning Sunday evening the county will enter up to two weeks of successive storms moving through the County. Some of those storms, in all likelihood, will be quite cold and powerful. With the narrow window of time available, PG&E has opted to make the necessary repairs beginning this evening.
Consequently, beginning tonight at 11 p.m. and lasting until 7 a.m. Saturday, power will be cut to the entire County (Except Fish Camp). PG&E is optimistic that subsequent unplanned power outages can be avoided by completing the fix immediately.

Thanks for getting it done in
