Mariposa County Supervisor Jim Allen will speak at the January meeting of the Mariposa Democratic Club. The meeting will be held at the Midpines County Park on Jan. 9.

The club will provide breakfast. The cost is $6, and the meal begins at 9 a.m. Those planning to attend breakfast are asked to call Anne Brock at 742-1010.
