The winners of the Merry Mountain Christmas Parade have been announced. They are listed by category.

Floats: Mariposa County Probation.

Equestrian: Mariposa Mountain Riders, Melissa Moors (Buttefly Cafe) and Merced Rodeo Committee.

Rolling Entries: Valley Vintage Car Club, Mariposa Public Utility District, Puppy Love, grand marshalls, Clampers, CAL FIRE, Lon Richards and Ted Hogan.

Bands: Mariposa County High School Grizzly Band, and drum majors Garrett Simpson and Melissa Caputo.

Marching Teams: Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Pack 94, Relay for Life, Mariposa Girl Scouts, Ted Hogan and E. Clampus Vitus.

The grand prize sweepstakes award went to the Experimental Aircraft Association. The executive director’s favorite was the Mariposa Widders, also known as Hazel’s Girls. The most unusual award went to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, and the most presidential went to Mariposa Auto Trim. The judges’ favorite routine was the Clampers’ exercise with the American flag.

The winners of the Huffy bicycles were Heather Lynn Picton and Tonya Vanderweide. The bikes were donated by Coast Do it Best Hardware.
