Thank you animal control. On Dec. 7, a beautiful snow it was: four inches plus on Ponderosa Way in Midpines.

But I had a big problem. My dog Ruby was very sick, and my doctor said she needed a very important particular pill. All the roads were snowed-in and I could not make it to her office, so Rite Aid was able to help with the prescription.

Although the highways were still snowed-in, animal control came to the rescue, picked up my pills and delivered them to my home and my dog, Ruby.
