I don’t know how many of you receive or read the e-mail newsletter from the Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce, but I do, and wanted to take a moment to thank our President, MaryAnn Huff, for the phenomenal job she did these past three years. I have had the honor of working with MaryAnn on several projects as well as local fund raisers for the Coulterville area. Never have I met someone with such passion for Mariposa County as a whole and worked diligently to support the efforts of all events in her hometown of Coulterville and Greeley Hill and Lake Don Pedro as well. She has always been there to help in whatever way she can.

There are those that don’t think what she did as president mattered and there are those that don’t even know what she did. And, there are those like myself that know what it takes to keep forging ahead no matter what obstacles stand in the way. This is what makes MaryAnn so special and the chamber of commerce will surely miss her as its leader. However, we are fortunate that she will still be around serving and helping her community.

MaryAnn, thank you for everything you have done. You are an amazing woman and I am proud to call you my friend.
