Each month throughout 2009 a safety article and information about how to prevent accidents in and around the home, as well as safety concerns when traveling was submitted to the MARIPOSA GAZETTE. It is our hope that you and your family and friends have benefitted from these safety tips.

MCFD is of the belief that community education, by way of safety articles has, in part, contributed to the 10 percent decline in calls for service in 2009.

As we end 2009 and begin a new year, MCFD will continue to be there to serve the communities we live in. We are grateful to all of you for your continued support and look forward to growing and accomplishing many things in 2010. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
