Kids can build Gingerbread houses

2009-12-17 / Inside Education

On Friday, Dec. 18, at Infant Child Enrichment Services (ICES) children can enjoy building graham cracker houses covered in white frosting, candy walkways, and sprinkle covered sugar cone trees. The fun, festive activities will take place from 4:30 until 7 p.m. Children can build and create a little winter wonderland of their own.

This is a free community event, however, for every canned food or unwrapped toy donation (for Manna House and Kops for Kids) brought to this get together, participants will receive an opportunity to win a family dinner pack donated by the Mariposa Pizza Factory.

ICES will also have available important information about making this a safe holiday for all. This workshop is open to children of all ages accompanied by a relative and/or caregiver. Those planning to attend are asked to call in advance with the number of adults and children that will be present, as space and materials are limited.

For more information call ICES at 966-4474.
