In the second round of the Bret Harte Tournament Friday afternoon, Mariposa rebounded from its opening loss of the season and clobbered Right of Passage, 68-46.

In junior varsity action, the young Grizzlies posted a 50-47 victory over Calaveras in a tough contest.

Mariposa's varsity girls' squad dropped their opening round match in the Hughson Tournament to Central Catholic, 60-31, on Thursday, but the Lady Grizzlies bounced back to upend Downey High School, 40-23, in their second tilt.
