Meta Ann Livingston passed on Nov. 28, a proud Chukchansi Native American.

She was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Mariposa to Jim and Rose Jones. She was widowed by her husband, Paul S. Livingston, on April 2, 1996.

She is survived by her two sisters, Dorthy Maczko of Mariposa and Irene Yaptit of Merced; five children of Mariposa, Cindy Smith, Paul Livingston, Jr., Debbie Berry, Nickey Griffith and Rosie Livingston; 15 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildre and many nieces and nephews.

She was well loved and is going to be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
