The Mariposa County High School Grizzly marching band under the direction of Dr. Phillip M. Smith and the Mariposa Middle School Concert Band directed by Tina Tiner will present the annual Fall Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Richard D. Fiester Auditorium.

The Grizzly Band will present an overview of its award winning marching season including its competition march “O’- Donell Abu” (an Irish War March). MMS band selections will feature band arrangements for the holidays, as well as contemporary charts.

Both ensembles will combine to play the rousing “Santa Rocks the House” and a Christmas sing-a-long. Tickets may be purchased from band members or purchased at the door for a suggested donation of $5 per person. Proceeds will be used to help the Grizzly Band in its fund raising efforts to compete at an invitational Festival of Champions to be held in Anaheim on April 23.
