In a non-league preseason basketball clash in Oakhurst Saturday evening, Mariposa's varsity squad thrashed its hosts, Yosemite's Badgers, 69-54.

The Grizzlies' towering front line dominated the paint, allowing Mariposa to move to 3-0 on the young season.

Mariposa's junior varsity squad also prevailed, posting a solid 55-36 win over the Badgers.
