Have you seen the great Christmas decorations in downtown Mariposa? Don’t they make Mariposa look beautiful, festive and remind you of the joyous Christmas season? Well, you can thank Miriam Costello, chairperson of Santa’s decorating crew and the following elves: Dr. Lisa Carisio, Jackie Davis and Janet Stallings of Boutique by the Creek and Pam Wright of Mariposa Market Place, who worked many hours hanging the many different Christmas decorations on Nov. 22.

Most of the decorations were donated by the SPCA and the ribbon used for the bows were donated by Mariposa Market Place, Company Store, Miriam’s Place and Chocolate Soup. While working hard putting up the decorations, Susan Posey of Sugar Pine treated some of the workers with coffee and sticky buns. Thank you Miriam and your elves for a job well done.
