The 18th annual Friends of the Library Christmas home tour takes place Saturday Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 4p.m., and Sunday Dec. 6, from noon  to 4 p.m. 

The ticket price is $12 per person, and they are available at the Mariposa County Library, the chamber of commerce, and Trent’s Styling for His and Hers.

The homes scheduled for this year’s tour are primarily in the Mariposa, East Whitlock, and West Whitlock areas, with the continued participation of the History Center and the Senior Center.

This year the History Center will feature a special arrangement of decorations and holiday displays from earlier Christmases. The hospital volunteers will be at the Senior Center, and lunch will be served on Saturday only.
