We wish to thank the entire Mariposa County community for the outpouring of love and support you have given us over the loss of our son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, Lukas Hopper, who was killed Oct. 30 in Iraq. The honor you have shown Luke has been uplifting and inspiring, and has helped us tremendously in this tragic time of grief and sorrow. The many ways you have expressed your concern, compassion and generosity toward us has truly carried our spirits and demonstrated the wonderful nature of humanity in our home community.
