The Mariposa County High School varsity basketball boys and girls basketball teams opened the 2009-10 season with wins at Gustine. Only the varsity teams played as part of the CIF’s foundation game.

The Lady Grizzlies beat the Reds, but no score was available this morning. The varsity boys followed suit, crushing the Reds 57-33.

The boys teams travel to Summerville tonight to face the Bears. The girls host their own tournament this weekend.
