Mariposa Chamber of Commerce and Lions have teamed up together to bring the “Spirit of Christmas” to Mariposa County.

The full day of festivities, starts with the Merry Mountain Christmas Parade at 1 p.m. The celebration then moves to the Courthouse lawn where all will be entertained.

Children and adults will enjoy free 12-passenger horse drawn wagon rides, a drawing for a free bicycle, Christmas carolers, Courthouse tours, free hot dogs and popcorn, hot beverages, a DJ, and a tree lighting ceremony. The parade awards ceremony begins at 4 p.m., and at 6 p.m. Santa will arrive by carriage eager to listen to the wishes of all children.
