Tickets for the Friends of the Library 18th annual Holiday Home Tour are almost available. The tour takes place Saturday, Dec. 5, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The ticket price is $12 per person, and tickets will be available on Nov. 1 at the Mariposa County Library, the chamber of commerce and at Trent’s His and Hers Salon.

The homes scheduled for this year’s tour are primarily in the Mariposa, East Whitlock, and West Whitlock areas, with the continued participation of the history center and the senior center. This year the history center will feature an “old-time Christmas” with decorations and holiday displays from Mariposa’s historic past.
