Weapons brandished during theft

A Mariposa couple is the victim of an alleged home invasion robbery. The crime, which took place on Nov. 29, yielded the suspects four pounds of marijuana and more than $1,000 in cash.

The incident took place on Triangle Road shortly after 8 p.m. that night. One of the victims said three men entered his home, pointed a shotgun at him and his wife, and hit his wife in the face with the butt of a pistol.

This is the most recent in a number of theft cases involving medicinal marijuana. For the complete story, see this week’s edition of the Mariposa Gazette.
