NMCHC holds fund raisers

The Northern Mariposa County History Center (NMCHC) has two holiday fund raisers going on. The first is a raffle for a freezer loaded with 70 pounds of beef plus a $25 Save Mart gift certificate.

Tickets are $5 each. They can be purchased now through Dec. 13 at either the museum or at the NMCHC Sunday, Dec. 13 breakfasts. The winning ticket will be drawn just in time for Christmas at the Dec. 13 breakfast. The winner need not be present.

The museum’s popular poinsettia sale is also going on now through mid-December. In addition to the traditional red plants, shoppers can also order them in a variety of colors including: white, cream, burgundy, plum pink, jingle bell (red and white), carousel (red and green), strawberry and cream. The red poinsettias are $11 each. Special colors are $13 each. These vibrant plants in colorfully wrapped 6.5” pots come direct from a valley poinsettia farm. Call 878-3015 or email an order to info@coultervillemuseum.org

The next breakfast takes place from 8 to 11 a.m. at the Coulterville old school house. Fresh eggs with ham or sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit and beverage are $5 for adults, $3 for children and $15 for a family (two adults, two children).
