Mariposa County Chamber of Commerce and the Lions Club of Mariposa have joined together to produce a full day of events for the Merry Mountain Christmas Festival and Parade on Dec. 12. The parade grand marshalls for 2009 are Delores Hahn of Habitat for Humanity and Charles (Chuck) Bill, the chief executive officer of John C. Fremont Healthcare District.

Parade entry forms are now online at the chamber Web site at www.mariposachamber.org (click on the Merry Mountain Christmas banner for forms and schedule of events.) Vendor booth applications are also available on the site. Entry forms and vendor booth applications are due in to the chamber offices no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 9. Parade entry winners will be presented with trophies at the Mariposa County Courthouse at 4 p.m. on Dec. 12. Courthouse tours will operate from 1 until 6 p.m.
