Bets the ranch

I recently attended the sentencing hearing of a local pedophile who admitted to molesting several children of my friends and neighbors.

Disgustingly, this pervert was sentenced to probation and allowed to go home. Saying “sorry” and “I have a problem” and “I need help,” only after being caught strikes a decidedly hollow ring.

Finally caught in his heinous acts I’d be willing to bet the ranch this wasn’t his first rodeo. And, still walking among us, how long before this predator ingratiates himself into another trusting family and commits his horror on more innocent children?

My fervent wish for this insect (and others like him) is that on the first offense they are sent to prison for the rest of their natural life and that each and every day they are served up a heaping portion of their own filthy medicine.
