MCRCD holds tree and wildflower sale

The Mariposa County Resource Conservation District will hold its annual tree and wildflower seed sale on Saturday, Nov. 14, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. A variety of oaks, as well as incense cedar, Ponderosa pine, buckeye and other native trees will be available in one gallon and some in five gallon sizes. The organization will also have redbud and deer grass, as well as the popular wildflower seed mix and poppy seed packages.

The sale will be held in the parking area directly in front of the district office. Enter the Mariposa Fairgrounds parking lot off of Highway 49 South, stay to the right and continue up the parking lot to the agricultural building. District volunteers will be there to help with questions and planting information.

If you need any special assistance to attend this event or if you have any questions, please contact the RCD office at 966-3431.
