On Friday, Nov. 6, from 5 to 6 p.m. local 91-year-old author Claire Kathleen Daniels Goldman, will be at the Mariposa County Library to sign her first book, My Life.

The memoir spans two continents, two world wars, a glamorous career as a model in 1930s London, service as an officer in the WAAF’s during World War II, and emigration to the USA as a GI bride after the war.

The book is full of humor, insight and courage. Books will be available for sale at the signing.
