Overwhelming support

It is very hard for me to write this note. The outpouring of your concern and support has been overwhelming to me.

I am blessed to be part of this wonderful community that has supported me through the years and indulged my inspirations. You have given me strength to tackle this challenge and to fight the cancer.

I was caught off guard with this illness and wanted to fade away, but I feel stronger now with all your positive thoughts, well wishes and prayers. I feel sorry that I still must keep away from crowds, because of my low white blood cell count, but it is getting better.

As Jack and I would say, “There’s no place like Mariposa. This is where you find the gold, in the hearts of the people.”

Love to all,

Alinda Boyce-Franklin
